Yesterday, our TSA students went on a field trip to Mangum Brick Company to learn about the manufacturing process of brickmaking and toured their facility. They also visited Altus Lugert Dam and went on a tour of the dam. We are grateful to Jed Winters from Mangum Brick Company and Tom Buchanan, the manager of Lugert Altus Irrigation District, for hosting our students. They had the best time!

The Navajo Elementary Girls A team will play at 3:30 PM, and the Boys B team will play ACA tonight at 6:30 PM at the ACA Elementary Basketball Tournament. Let's cheer for the Tribe!

It's hard to believe but Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Thursday September 21st from 3:00-9:00 P.M. Parents of students in 7th-8th grade need to schedule appointment by going to this link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4EAEA92EA5FEC52-parent
Parent's of students in 9th-12th grade just need to show up at the High School building between 3-9 PM and we will take you to see your child(s) teachers (no appointment necessary). This day is also the District Softball and Baseball Tournament and it is at Navajo. Students may attend the games for $5 and concession is available as well. Baseball plays at 11 and 3, Softball plays at 1 and 2:15.

Our Navajo Junior High and High School Student of the Month program was a hit last year among our students and staff, and we are gearing up for another year of recognizing their leadership, kindness, courtesy, and respectfulness, to name a few. IT'S BOOK FAIR TIME!!! Navajo Book Fair will begin Monday, September 18th and run through Monday, September 25th. Parent Night is Thursday, September 21st from 3:30PM-8:45PM. Students will have the opportunity to shop during the regular school day and during their library class time.
