Navajo Elementary will be heading to the NASP State Archery competition on February 14th at OKC. The Junior High team will be headed to Grand State in Tulsa on Feb 23rd! The teams are seeking donations to help purchase new team shirts and new equipment to prepare. Navajo TSA students are selling beef sticks to help raise funds for their state convention! Please see any seventh or eighth grader TSA students to purchase your beef sticks today! These make great on-the-go snacks and are for a good cause!
This past weekend 3 Navajo students participated and represented Jackson County in the State 4-H Air Rifle Competition.
Junior Division had 35 competitors

Lanna Guenther-Junior Division (19th place)
Intermediate Division had 38 competitors
Jethro Guenther-Intermediate Division (29th place)

Sam and Lanna were two of the four on that team. Other members were from other schools.

The Navajo High School basketball team's will be participating in the Great Plains Bank High School Tri-County Tournament this week at WOSC. Tonight the Lady Indians will play against Hollis at 4:20 pm, and the boys will play against Leedey at 8:20 pm. We will update the brackets tomorrow.
Navajo hosted the OAAC 4th Grade Alpha Quiz Bowl Tournament today at Martha Road Baptist Church. Navajo had a 2-1 record and was the Alpha Quiz Bowl Tournament Runners Up! Congratulations!!
