The Navajo High School Cheerleaders are selling these Navajo t-shirts now through Friday, February 24th. An order form will be sent home today with our elementary students, and order forms can be picked up in the front office for our jr. high and high school students! Last week we had our monthly junior high and high school student of the month assembly where we honored these four outstanding students for the month of January. Please help us congratulate eighth graders Demitira Phipps, Jake Lingle, and tenth graders Kennedi Cobb and Carson Brooks! We are so proud of them!

Are you cleaning out your closets this weekend? If you find a pair of shoes that you no longer need, please consider donating them to the class of 2026's shoe drive! They are accepting gently used shoes of all kinds and sizes! They can be dropped off in the box by the front office!

The Navajo Golf team is still selling raffle tickets for a weather pod and folding chair to help keep you nice and warm and out of the Oklahoma wind this spring at your outdoor sporting events! Tickets are ONE for $5 or FIVE for $20. Please see any high school golf member or call the front office at 580-482-7749 to purchase your tickets!

DATE CHANGE! Our next Navajo 4-H meeting will be held on TUESDAY, February 7th, from 3:00-4:30 in Mrs. Dunn's classroom. We hope to see our 4-H members there!

The Navajo Livestock Show will be at the Navajo Show Barn on Saturday, February 11, 2023! We would love for you to join us and see all the hard work our livestock team puts into their animals. It will be a fun day for our exhibitors and our spectators! Navajo Cloverbuds (second grade and younger) can join the fun by showing livestock, too! Your Cloverbud would have an animal of their choice to show (goat, sheep, or pig)! The cost is $25.00, and the animal is provided. This is a great opportunity for our younger pre-4-H members to experience showmanship and have some fun! A registration form was sent home with your students and is due to Mrs. Dunn by Friday, February 10. If you need another registration form, please let us know! The Navajo Livestock team is currently selling raffle tickets for a $500 cash giveaway! Please see any Navajo Livestock team member to purchase your tickets! The drawing will be held at the show, but you do not need to be present to win. There will also be a small concession and an auction of various items such as pies, salsas, cookies, etc. We hope to see you there!!

After-school tutoring for first through third grade has been cancelled today, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, due to incoming weather. Please make arrangements for your student's transportation! For questions, please call 580-482-7742.

Friday, February 3, 2023, will celebrate our 2023 senior athletes for senior night at the high school basketball game against Mangum. There will also be a halftime performance during the girl's game by our elementary cheerleading clinic participants! You don't want to miss this! Evening events start at 6:00 pm!

Join us on Thursday, February 2nd, for the junior high basketball games against Sayre. Tipoff starts at 4:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

Mark your calendars Lady Indians! We will hold a volleyball clinic on March 7th from 3:30-5:00! This clinic is open to girls in sixth grade and up! Please see Mrs. LeMaster to sign up!

Navajo UEL traveled to Canute for the regional quiz bowl tournament. Navajo went undefeated in tournament play winning five rounds to become the Regional Champion. They will continue on to the area tournament in a few weeks. Congratulations to our UEL Academic Team!
