We would like to congratulate the Navajo Choir on their OSSAA Vocal State competition. Isabelle Gloria earned Superior 1 and ensemble Taylor Smith, Elena Shimmin, Korie Beason, and MaKayla Urbina earned a 2 excellent!
We are so proud of their hard work!

We want to announce our 2022-2023 Navajo Teacher of the Year Award recipient, the one and only Mr. Burks! Mr. Burks is an absolute legend here at Navajo and has been since he started teaching in 1985! He has won the hearts of so many students, won many TSA awards, and has taught lifelong skills to so many. We all love Mr. B, and he is so deserving of this award!

We wish our Navajo Choir the best of luck at the OSSAA State Vocal Contest tomorrow at Crossing Community Church. Isabelle Gloria will perform a solo piece, Korie Beason, Taylor Smith, MaKayla Urbina, and Elena Shimmin will perform a quartet!


The Regional baseball game in Rattan between Navajo and Arapaho-Butler at 1:30 pm today has been moved to start at 3:00 pm. Best of luck, Tribe!!

This morning we announced our April Navajo Junior High and High School Student of the Month Recipients! These students went above and beyond in their eagerness to help others, kept up with their studies during busy times, and showed compassion to everyone they met! Our junior high students are McKenzie Moreau and Braden Morrow, both eighth graders, and our high school students are sophomore Abby Brooks and senior Trey Selvidge! We also want to shout out five perfect attendance winners, Tinley Funkhouser, Alexa Hoffman, Karisa Callens, Macee Smith, and Daniel Feser! Way to go, Tribe!

Navajo HS Softball and Baseball will hit the road for the regional tournament today April 27th. The softball team will play at Cyril at 2:15 PM. Today is National Administrative Professionals Day, and we would like to thank our amazing administrative professionals, Martha Barrett, Ronda Lemaster, and Sharon Williams! We appreciate all their hard work and dedication!

Our Navajo TSA students attended the Oklahoma State TSA Convention this past week in Norman. These students worked hard creating projects to enter into the competition to compete against hundreds of other TSA students.
Peyton Cassady, Dalton Bearden, and Brent Diaz placed second in the High School Technology Bowl.
Trey Selvidge, Alex Biddy, and Ian Harrington placed third in High School Engineering Design.
Alyssa Meenes and Jennie Cobb placed first in the Middle School Construction Challenge team!
Jackson Atwell, Logan Wigington, Isaac Picinich, Averie Birley, Abdiel Chavez, and Hunter Hovland placed second in the Middle School Construction Challenge Team.
Anthony Picinich and Logan Wigington won third place in the Middle School Electrical Applications.
We are so proud of our TSA students and can't wait to see more of their amazing projects!
