Navajo elementary students in 3rd-6th grade had the opportunity to participate in America's Battle of the Books. Students read a minimum of 10 books from a pre-selected list of titles throughout the school year and came together in teams to test their knowledge of the books they had read. The student competition is similar to the TV series Family Feud or Whiz Kids styles of competitions. Our winner and runner up teams will be rewarded with an extra field trip the end of the school year.
3rd- 4th consisted of the champions green team, the runner-up yellow team, and then the purple and pink teams.
5th-6th created a white team who was our champions and red team who was our runner up.
We are so proud of all our students who participated and worked hard to read the material this school year!
